In Vino Veritas:
Finding Community and Knowledge at Dionysus

My name is Andrea Carolina Loefstop a member of the Dionysus Wine Association. What began as a casual interest in wine has evolved into a deep passion for wine, a sence of community and rich experience. My time in this association has not only expanded my palate but has also enriched my understanding of the wine with every wine tasting they provide.

When joining the

Dionysus association what struck me immediately was the warmth and inclusivity of the group. Whether you were a novice or a wine expert everyone was welcome, and every opinion was valued. The regular tastings, discussions, and events were a perfect blend of education and enjoyment. I quickly found myself attending more events than I had originally planned each one a new opportunity to learn and connect with my fellow wine lovers.

Even better at the Dionysus Wine Association we host an annual wine trip. Which I was proudly a Committee member for. It brought me joy and a sense of fulfillment having the opportunity to plan and create together with my fellow wine trip committee members this unique and fun experience that offers both educational and leisure moments. As for the future wine trip committee I hope you all get to experience the joy of seeing fellow members discover a new favorite wine or learn something new about viticulture as it made all the hard work worthwhile.

So for future joining members if you’re considering joining the Dionysus wine association or getting more involved in it, I can only offer this piece of advice: do it! You’ll gain far more than just knowledge about wine. You’ll gain a community, experiences, and memories that will last a lifetime. Cheers to the journey ahead!
